Café Broodthaers / Kitchen

Named in honor of the late Belgian artist Marcel Broodthaers (1924-1976), Café Broodthaers offers visitors a complimentary snack inspired by Broodthaers's sculptures of eggshells, mussel shells, and the occasional milk bottle.

Recipes created by Madame Butterfly for Café Broodthaers have been assembled in a limited edition cookbook, Discomfort Food (Authentic Recipes From the Homeless Museum).
